Common Ground

Themes reveal themselves over time within my painting practice. Similar color schemes, compositions, or subjects anchor my work and when I study these characteristics they provide new ideas to further explore. Here is example of three works, all the same size, that seem to be in direct conversation with each other. In the following example what discoveries can you find?

In 2012, I painted this work 48in.x 36in. Oil on Canvas.

The second work was painted on January 23rd, 2019. 48in.x36in. Oil on Canvas.

The third was painted in the winter of 2017. 48in. x 36in. Oil on Panel.
