A Viewpoint
I am consistently inspired by the puzzling complexity of nature and the connections I make to it. Through my art practice I can explore that natural network, and attempt to better understand that larger gestalt in which I play a seemingly simple part of. I can not understand the entire network of the cosmos though the observation of my singular viewpoint. I do suspect however, that anyone could have their eyes re-opened and discover a deeper understanding of themselves, simply through a facet of observation. I focus on moments that seem to stir up the Sublime within me. These are the moments I feel strongest because I am alive and charged with a sense of haste, realizing that my seemingly simple part is ephemeral. A wonderful thing is that my artwork will proceed me because isn't directly attached to my timeline.
